Addressing challenges in a targeted way

„The transition to a sustainable and inclusive global economy that balances economic progress with social and environmental priorities is one of the defining challenges of our time.“

The new publication Impact Investing, released by authors  Peter A. Fanconi, Michael Wehrle und Tahmina Theis focuses primarily on challenges facing our planet. These include geopolitical fragmentation, demographic change, technological transformation and the transition to a lower-carbon economy.

Impact investing gets to the root of these challenges by deliberately directing capital into investments. In doing so, impact investing contributes to an important concept in the global financial market.

Investing with impact

The publication combines sustainability and returns with societal benefit — whether in infrastructure, growth markets or emerging economies.

Capital can be deployed where resilience needs to be strengthened, sustainable development is being advanced and global sustainability goals are being supported.

A book for investors

The book is for investors who seek more than just returns: discover how capital can become a driver of sustainable change – along with the opportunities and challenges that come with it.
